PURPOSE AND EXPECTATION:
Equip yourself with the knowledge to answer hard questions and change minds. Develop your worldview knowledge, sharpen your abilities, and grow your confidence. Cultivate your worldview knowledge and cultural influence, and recover Gospel GRIT in the Church.

This 4 session seminar will help you discover what it means to live out a Christian worldview in your spheres of influence. You’ll learn how to respond to our cultural moment in light of God’s Story.

July 7th – Session 1: Making Sense of Worldviews
– Introduction: Understanding our cultural moment in light of God’s Story
– What is a Biblical Worldview?
– What are the competing worldviews in America today?

July 14th – Session 2: Understanding Culture
– What is Culture?
– What does the Bible say about culture and our place in it?
– How do ideas shape culture and reality?

July 21st – Session 3: Culture in Crisis – Current Flashpoints
– How did we arrive at this cultural moment?
– Cultural Issues (sexual identity, gay marriage, LGBT+, religious liberty, sanctity of life, race/ethnicity, transhumanism, etc.)
– How does the biblical worldview bring restoration and renewal to families, communities, and nations?

July 28th – Session 4: Christ Over Politics and Culture
– What is the Christian duty in politics and government?
– What does the Bible say about politics and government?
– How does a biblical worldview shape politics?
– How can we steward politics and governance as Christians

– In-person only
– Light snacks, water, and coffee provided
– Bring a pen and notebook
